I started my Listen to Life series in about 2002 when some of the members of my team suggested I share with others the stories that I shared with them at our weekly staff meetings. I published Listen to Life: Wisdom in Life’s Stories in 2005. The format has changed over the years, but the goal has been the same: Share with others the insights and wisdom about life that comes from paying attention, listening to others, and noticing the moments. There are hundreds of such stories to peruse and learn from. Or re-learn, as I did the other day when I explored the archives of the newsletter.
I felt like I had discovered a treasure chest and a time capsule, all in one. You are welcome to dig in, letting the “coins” sift between your fingers until you find the piece you need. I was reminded of significant moments and experiences in my life while perusing the stories. I listened anew to my life’s experiences, a process that I strongly recommend.
What in the world am I talking about? The archives of Listen to Life from 2008 to 2014, and all the episodes since. For the latter, you might enjoy the adventure of typing a word of interest in the search tool to see what you come up with.
You are welcome to my treasure chest at any time.
