Dear Writer, Author, Poet, Creator-with-Words:
I promise that you’ll never run short of ideas and inspiration for your work—no more writer’s block. (You will also become a better writer. Writers write. That is how we get better at writing, right?) You will also have structure to bring your many notes and thoughts together into creative expression. So, I promise you’ll have a steady flow of ideas AND you’ll become a better writer in your own, unique voice.
Never be afraid of a blank screen or empty sheet of paper again. Never be afraid of a keyboard, a pen or a sharpened pencil again. Never, ever.
Never have ideas and no idea of how to bring them together into a cohesive story, essay, letter or poem.
OWN THE VOICE THAT ONLY YOU CAN HAVE!
You won’t ever again lose sleep because you can’t think of what to write or how. (I can’t promise that you won’t lose sleep because you have so many great ideas to write about in all manner of styles and genres though! I am not responsible for your coffee bills because you can’t bear the idea of having to stop writing!)
The greatest impacts on my development as an author/writer/poet/creator-with-words came from personal interactions and feedback from my teachers and mentors, not from group lectures. So, I developed a unique program to help you in a one-on-one format.
Years ago, I developed a unique set of tools and processes for a program I called Memories to Memoirs™. I soon discovered that those tools to reveal each person’s never-ending source of ideas and inspiration served all sorts of writers, artists and creatives, so I wrote LIFElines: Empowering All Aspects of Your Life. I get ahead of myself. Sorry. Not really!
The system that we’ll work with is adaptable. My “sweet spot” in writing was always about 500 words, unless I was writing a poem. That probably had to do with all the 500-word essays for high school freshman English class! My first book, Listen to Life: Wisdom in Life’s Stories, is pretty much a collection of short pieces. So, how did I tackle Daddin’: The Verb of Being a Dad that ended up being almost 100,000 words? What you’ll learn with the LIFElines program will empower you no matter what type or length of work you choose to create.
No matter what you write –fiction or nonfiction; poetry, short stories or novels; westerns or science fiction; religious, self-help, lyrics, or… anything! – my one-on-one, 90-day program will provide you what you really need:
- Endless ideas
- Rich, detailed characters
- Revealing dialog
- Strong emotions
- Bold, courageous voice
- Engaging plots
- Meaningful memoirs
- Connection to your readers
- Insights into core messages and structure
- YOUR voice and yours alone
- Agelessness and youth*
Need proof? You’re living it. Your life has all the inspiration and ideas you need if you can only access it properly. One’s life is all that any writer, artist or creative has to work with.
One of the key issues that led to Ernest Hemingway’s tragic end was that he began to lose his memories because of his electro-shock treatments for depression. Imagine the life-giving quality of gaining more and more memories, and context to make them energizing inspiration for all your writing!
Remember my promise! I can’t make you write –that is up to you, but I will provide inspiration and encouragement in our sessions and via email, and writing makes you a better writer!– but I can provide you the keys to an endless source of ideas and inspiration, and the support to get you going. By the time our 90 days together are over, you’ll be a transformed writer.
You’ll get these to unleash your inspiration and ideas:
Seven One-on-One Video Sessions (45 minutes apiece via Skype)
- Overview of the process and using the first LIFEline (history). Homework.
- Reviewing your work on the first LIFEline and using the second (firsts). Homework.

Two Reviews of Homework
You will be able to send me one homework assignment each from sessions six and seven (up to 500 words each) for me to review and comment on, based on the goals you described in your preliminary questionnaire. I will not be “editing” your work.
One Document Review
Within 30 days of your seventh video session, send me a document (up to 5,000 words) and I will review it and comment based on the goals you described and what I have learned about your aspirations by working with you.
Unlimited email access
Got a question or concern? Email me and I will reply as soon as I can during your 90-day enrollment. It’s that simple.
Ongoing Tips and Inspirations via E-mail
I really, really want you to succeed and love the process. During and after your enrollment you will receive from me ideas, suggestions, tips, contest notices and other inspiration to keep you on track, motivated and enjoying the life of creating with words. You can unsubscribe from this at any time and your email address will never, ever be sold or given to another organization or entity.
As you can imagine, I cannot handle a large number of participants in 90-day segments and still provide the attention you deserve. Spots are limited, so act now if you want to participate before the rates go up in November.
I often say that I became a photographer at 6, a writer at 12 and a poet at birth. I love writing and photography, and I intend to share that love with you. I want you to love it all, too. Finding your writer-Self will make you young and ageless.
* About 4500 years ago, Ptahotpe (an Egyptian Vizier) said, “Happy is the heart of him who writes; he is young each day.” A decade or so ago, Sophia Loren was quoted as saying, “There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.”
Once you enroll, I will send you a questionnaire so I can better understand your goals, aspirations and fears. Please return your answers to me within 48 hours. The sooner we begin working together, the sooner you’ll break the inertia you have and develop momentum to a new, inspired, empowered writer. Please promise to send me your answers as soon as possible. If you don’t within 96 hours of your enrollment, your money will be returned and your spot will be opened for someone else who wants to transform their writing.
To make registration workable for you, I offer two payment options. One is to pay in three, automatic, equal payments; the other is an upfront full payment that also saves you $100.
Save $100 by paying upfront!
Or make three equal payments!
I make another promise. If you feel like you are not getting what you wanted from this experience by the end of the fourth session, I will refund your money. Simply request it within 24 hours after your fourth session and I will return any monies you’ve paid and will cancel any future payments if you are on a payment plan.
Begin the transformation today. Email me at Dion@DionMcInnis.com if you have any questions, or call me at 832-877-8821. But register soon. Seats at this introductory rate are limited. For only $600 (or $500 if you pay it all upfront…remember, the program is guaranteed), your life as a writer will be changed forever. Oh, and you’ll become ageless in the process, too!*
PS: Want to hear me describe the process in an interview on Author’s Access radio? Check it out here then register while seats are available. You might want to get your own copy of LIFElines: Empowering All Aspects of Your Life to see the myriad ways this process will change your life, not just your writing.
